SPEED TRAINING
Acceleration Training- How fast an athlete can accelerate is important in every sport. Our program teaches an athlete how to maximize his or her acceleration by teaching proper joint angles and ground force application.
Deceleration Training-An athlete must not only be quick, but also must know how to decelerate, or stop safely and quickly. This is crucial before the athlete can begin working on change-of-direction training. Most injuries involved in running are the result of improper deceleration.
Change In Direction Training-In most sports, an athlete must be able to change direction quickly. This requires training in strength, balance, and proper joint placement. Learning how to position each foot, and in what direction, maximizes the athlete’s ability to quickly change direction.

STRENGTH TRAINING
It is essential to first teach an athlete how to train before they begin a training program. Our program is divided into two levels to insure the athlete’s proper muscular development.
LEVEL 1- This is a base-building foundational program designed for the beginner athlete using body-weight exercise to teach the fundamentals of strength training. This program includes instruction in: proper form, technique, balance, and strengthening the core. A key component of speed is how strong an athlete is with their own body weight.
LEVEL 2-This second stage of training explores ground based, closed-chain movements, multi-joint movements and unilateral movements on multiple planes. This program is geared to train body movements, not just body parts.

HIGH LEVEL TRAINING
Performance Training- Athletes will be trained in both speed and strength training during these 60 minute sessions:
Improve Speed
Improve Strength
Improve Agility
Develop endurance
Maximize Jumping Ability/Increase Your Vertical
Decrease Your Susceptibility to Injury
